Important Patient Notice

On Wednesday this week Eyam and Bradwell Surgeries will pin open their doors to allow patients to check in for their appointments and collect medication from inside the buildings. In order to minimise delays, and keep people flowing in and out:

We politely ask that you DO NOT attempt to make appointments at the front desk when collecting medication, please continue to ring the surgery and make appointments, selecting option 0, to speak to a receptionist.

If you are dropping off paper medication requests please pass them to a receptionist; you will not be able to fill in forms and drop them in the box at Eyam (at the moment) and please DO NOT make any requests verbally at the desk.

If you attend either surgery for an appointment staff will continue to check your temperature, ask if you have very recently returned to the UK from abroad and ascertain whether you have any of the following symptoms: a high temperature (hot to touch on your chest or your back) a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of taste or smell. If you answer yes to any of the above you will asked to leave immediately.

This is a big change for everyone but in particular the staff who have had to work behind closed doors for 15 months, therefore, please give them the time and patience they deserve whilst they transition.

If you have any comments please put these in writing and send them to the Practice Management Team, rather than discussing them with the receptionist whilst you are in the building.
